Faqs
How are participants traveling to Mesquite?
It is your responsibility to get there. Some participants choose to ride with other participants in private vehicles. Others prefer to fly to Vegas, rent a vehicle, and drive to Mesquite (about an hour drive). I always get someone who tells me it is over an hour. I didn't say you have to go the speed limit.
I don’t have a roommate. Can you pair me up with someone?
Yes. If you come in as a single, we will pair you up with another participant. If you so choose, you may opt for an ‘individual’ room. The price is an additional $100 for the package for the 3-night stay. Your golf portion of the package price does not increase with an ‘individual’ package price… only the single occupancy hotel rate.
Can I get a refund of any monies paid if I am unable to go, for any reason?
NO. Because we are contractually bound to pay scheduled (non-refundable) deposits, we will not refund any deposits we collect. Keep in mind; we make no profit coordinating this golf trip. Also, there will be no refunds on packages due to illness or injury while on the trip.
I would like [early arrival/late departure]… can accommodations be made?
If you are getting to Mesquite before the scheduled date, or would like to stay past the scheduled package stay, we will put you in contact with the hotel sales department and you can make these arrangements.
Group rates may or may not apply.
Do the golf courses have a dress code?
Yes. The dress code for all 3 courses is “appropriate golf attire”, which includes slacks or golf shorts, only. Shirts must have a collar (no tee shirts).
No denim, no cutoffs, and no swimwear.
The exception is the 4th round at Saddleback. Please feel free to wear denim, your favorite wife-beater (husband-beater) tee-shirt, and some favorite swimwear.
Can I participate in the daily games without a GHIN handicap?
Yes. Though an established handicap is preferred, you may still participate in the daily games without one. We will give ‘best-effort’ to make the games competitive and fair for everyone.
What happens if inclement weather cancels any/all portion(s) of this package?
The course(s) will make every effort to reschedule the golf at a mutually agreeable time. If times are not available that are mutually acceptable, the golf course(s) will refund the respective golf deposits. We will refund/credit, accordingly.
Will there be any other ‘incidental’ expenses associated with the trip?
NO. Not counting your personal incidentals and particular gambling habits…
We may throw in some additional DAY GAMES,
but all other game purses are included in your package.
New in 2017 will be a last day game
We usually don't have a final day game because it is a travel day, but...
ROBO is staying an extra day and will run the game on the last golf day.
Last day golf winners will be able to pick up their winnings at Saddleback the week after the trip.
